We've been out with the Buster #1 meeting Brake, the road safety charity, to find out more about Road Safety Week. This year the campaign takes place between the 19th - 25th November and is the largest road safety campaign in the UK, its aims are to encourage schools, organisations and communities to take action on road safety and promote life saving messages.
Each year the campaign focuses on a theme, with this years focus being Bike Smart, protecting those using two wheels. There are many ways you can get involved so why not head over to http://roadsafetyweek.org.uk/ to see how you can help spread the word, raise some vital funds for the cause and be Bike Smart.
Brake reports that In 2016 there were 18,477 cyclist casualties, so it's easy to understand why we are keen to help promote Road Safety Week here at Buster Bikes.
